Wedding Invitations

I spent two hours today at Arzbergers designing our wedding invitations. They do some of the most amazing stationary in the country and even the world. The Royal Family uses Arzbergers for some of their events. I knew going in I wanted a super thick, six ply white paper with a fancy calligrapher script in black. I ordered engraving plates of our family crest to be make and stamped with gold. Here is a proof of our invitation with the Royal Crest (ours had to be specially made and will take a few months). Click to enlarge.

They will be in a gold lined envelope with a gold edge like the picture below.

Here are our save the dates; these were a bit more frustrating since we were working through Vera Wang Stationary. I do not recommend them. It took 3 proofs to get it right!  But here is what they will look like. They are on four ply white paper with black engraving.

I also went ahead and ordered my stationary for after I am married to write our thank-yous on. I had them done on six ply white paper as well with my married name written in black script. Here is an example by Arzberger's that is similar to what I ordered (mine will have the same calligraphy font as my invitation.)

And one last image for y'all. This is the most expensive invitation that the company ever did. The invitation was $15,000! Can you believe it?! I didn't know paper could be so expensive.
