I went on my first dress fitting today at Nitsa's Apparel and was so happy to find out that I still fit into my dress!!! Yay! I had nightmares that it was going to be too small and not zip up. But, after I saw my dress all my worry went away. It was even more beautiful than I remembered and it fit like a glove. I only needed to get it hemmed about a quarter inch and bustled. It was definitely was a lot bigger dress than I remembered from the trunk show. There is no doubt it is a ballgown if there ever was one. When I took it off it stood up on its own and looked like a ghost was in it! I really felt like Kate Hudson in Bride Wars or Lady Di in it with my double layered cathedral length veil.
I also went with my two maid's of honor for them to get measured for their dresses a Jcrew. I am so happy with the dress I chose for them. It is beautiful on, and if very figure flattering. I also stopped by Vineyard Vines today and bought an adorable dress for my engagement photos on Saturday. I've been looking forever for a casual navy dress and they had just the right one.
